Lloft O.T. cottage is in the quiet hamlet of Pont Cyfyng, close to the dramatic falls of the river Llugwy and within the village of Capel Curig - in the very heart of Snowdonia. Capel Curig is the ideal base for a holiday in Snowdonia, enjoying easy access to the main mountain ranges, the surrounding towns and villages and the beautiful North Wales coast.
The cottage is on a quiet road off the main A5, but within easy reach of local facilities. There are several good pubs and cafe within an easy, short walk of the cottage.
Capel Curig itself is only 4 miles from the bustling town of Betws-y-Coed where there are numerous hotels, cafes, pubs and shops. Widely known as the 'gateway to Snowdonia', Betws-y-Coed is able to supply everything you are likely to need for an enjoyable holiday from bike hire to delicious ice cream.
The cottage is surrounded by lovely walks of all varieties. The climb up Moel Siabod offers the reward of fantastic views of the Snowdon horseshoe. There are lower level walks in all directions too, along the river Llugwy to Betws-y-coed, taking in Swallow Falls, or over the hill to the lakes of Crafnant and Geirionydd with Trefriw and Llanrwst beyond.
There are good public transport links by bus or train (from Betws-y-coed) so it's easy to get around and explore the area.
